I thinkhe may like any of them. however, what was the exact year of that first VW bug your father bought? I can probably match a hubcap clock to the hubcap that is used. if it was a 60s’s bug, it was probably a type 1 hubcap which I have alot of.

Great! He had a ’69 beetle and later a ’74 bus. If you had a hubcap from either, that would be fantastic, if not, I think any would be great. Which listing should I order?

I ship by USPS 3-day priority mail to US addresses. I can have the Corvette Hubcap Clock in the mail tomorrow if I have payment by tomorrow noon PST, which would put it anytwhere in the 50 states by Saturday via your post man/woman. If you order later than that I could still probably swing it, but call my cell so that I know to check my incoming orders.

If need be, I could fedex 2nd day. I think that is about 29 dollars. Last pick up is around 6pm.

That would probably work. If I am around and I have the VW hubcap clock ready, it will work for sure. That way you won’t have to pay for shipping. I would reduce the sale price for you, or just refund the price of shipping afterwards.

Earlier afternoon would be fine for sure. Other times would work as well.

Actually, you could probably pick it up around 5pm today. The thing is I still need to glue the numbers on the hubcap clock , and it would not be fully dry. You could still easily transport it, however, especially if I put some tape over the numbers. If that is okay with you, today between 6 and 5 pm is fine.

You are welcome to give my cell to your sister in spokane.

Regardless, I can ship witin 24 hrs of payment when I am requested to do so. I use to ship to Calgary fairly requently, and I remember it taking 5 business daysor less using US International Priority Mail. The post office says 6-10 business days, but I don’t remember it taking that long. I live in Spokane,WA, just over the boarder from you.

However, for an extra ten dollars I would ship via Express international to arrive in 3 – 5 business days, probably three.

The picture of the mustang hubcap clock that you referenced is of a specific clock that I have in stock. I have a couple that are in great shape, and a picture of them would be indistinguishable.

If you order by 2pm today Wednesday PST, I can guarantee you that I can ship today Wednesday by US International Priority Mail.  The post office says that it can delivery within 6-10 business days, but from my experience it takes no more than 4 to 6 business days to reach Calgary from Spokane, WA, most of the time. (If you pay/order online by later than 2pm today wednesday, I may still be able to ship the same day, but give me a call to alert me that you placed an order.)

Porsche Hubcap Clocks

Hi Laura,

Both of these hubcap clocks have some light surface scratches that can be see up close (three feet away). The one porsche hubcap clocks that sells for about 84.99 has a few less of these. The one that sells for 69.99 has heavier scratches that can be seen from ten to fifteen feet away.

Neither is that big of a deal since most clocks are looked at from ten to thirty feet away. It just depends on the look you want when you take them out of the box or when someone walks up close to get a better view of the unique clock. Some like the more used, antiqued look. Others want a more exquisite look. I charge more for the ones that are closer to perfect because I can. : – )

However, keep in mind that a 60′s 912 porsche hubcap in mint condition would sell for up to 300 dollars . . . for just the cap, no clock. All the clocks I sell are definitely from used hubcaps, but they all look pretty nice for $100 or less.

p.s. I did not bother to take a different picture for the two clocks you mentioned because my skills as a photographer are not good enough to capture the differences between them. If you held both in your hands, you could tell. In two pictures you could not.
