This VW
hubcap clock is polished, waxed, detailed, and has numbering. It was
up-cycled from a used, vintage VW hubcap from the late 60s or early 70s. Do you know what the "Volkswagen means"? It translates from German into English as the "people's car". The clock is obvious made a hubcap of a Volkswagen bug or bus . . . probably 1966 or a bit later. If you think you see a reflection in the hubcap, you do. Its me from when I took the picture. It's like trying to take a photo of mirror. It does have small amount of rust on it and there might be a minor dent or two . . . but . . . hey, it is authentic! |
