Hubcap Clocks and Other Recycled Gifts

Green Wisdom strives to be the greenest business in North America by selling thoughtful products made to the highest eco-standards, such as our hubcap clocks.  We are a manufacturer and distributor of eco products in the United States and Canada.

At Green Wisdom, we are very much aware of the effects that businesses and consumers have the environment.  People can be either part of the solution or part of the problem. Of course, Green Wisdom chooses to be part of the solution.

Hubcap Clocks

One of our best selling products are hubcap clocks.  The one at the right is made from a vintage 11 inch Volkswagen hubcap from the 60s and 70s.  We of course make hubcap clocks from other autos, including Fords, Chevies,  and more. We carry VWs, BMWs, Corvettes, Jaguars, Mustangs, Mercuries, Corvairs, Porsches, and Jeeps, and many kinds of Chevies, Fords, Chrystlers, and GMCs. Most are from the 1960s.  The rest are from the 1940s, 50s, and 70s.  The VW,  BMW, Mustang, Corvette, and Porsche hubcap clocks are best sellers.  Our hub cap clocks are numbered, polished, and detailed as described.

We set a high bar for ourselves. Our eco-standards include high-recycled content, distribution practices that limit fossil fuel use, minimal packaging, recycled packaging, and non-toxic product.

Floppy Disk Journal

Another product is the floppy disk journal. They are made from 8 inch, 5.25 inch, and 3.25 inch floppies. There really was an 8 inch floppy disk that came into use in the late ’70s and then quickly went out of style in the ’80s. I can tell you: they make a lot better covers for journals than they ever did something on which to store data. The journals contain paper made from recycled paper containing 30% post-consumer waste.

Cutting Boards

We also drop ship cutting boards made from hardwood that is usually maple, walnut, oak, and/or cherry. The board is made from 100% reclaimed wood or wood that has been certified as sustainably harvested. FSC is the certification system that we strongly prefer. Cutting boards come in a number of sizes.
